Where to find your vaccination records in Belgium

Need to know which vaccines you received, and when? Belgium has a whole ecosystem of registries — federal, regional, school and pharmacy. Once you know who records what, everything gets simpler. A complete overview.
MaSanté: the single front door
On masante.belgique.be (eID or itsme) or in the official mobile app, the "My vaccines" section shows the registered vaccinations, injection by injection, with boosters flagged. Your children's data is visible there until they turn 16. MaSanté stores nothing itself: it aggregates the regional registries — which is why it helps to understand what sits behind it.
What sits behind it: the regional registries
In Flanders and Brussels, doctors record into Vaccinnet (since 2006), shared through the Vitalink platform — which also receives data from Kind & Gezin, the CLBs, hospitals and even the Institute of Tropical Medicine. On the French-speaking side, the e-Vax registry has covered ages 0-50 since 2014; it is professionals-only, and a new tool, Vaccicard, is rolling out for Wallonia, Brussels and the German-speaking Community — with integration planned with Flanders' Vaccinnet 2.0. As a citizen you don't juggle any of this: it all flows up to MaSanté.
The regional portals, region by region
In Wallonia, the Réseau Santé Wallon patient portal gives access to your shared record, vaccinations included. In Brussels, the Brussels Health Network publishes your vaccination summary within 48 hours of the injection, downloadable and printable in French, Dutch or English. In Flanders, mijngezondheid.be plays that role via Vitalink.
Your GP
Your Global Medical Record remains the richest source: it also covers old vaccines that never made it into the electronic registries. Your doctor can additionally query the registries to complete the picture.
For your children: ONE, Kind & Gezin, Kaleido
The child-health organisations keep their own register: ONE vaccinates free from 0 to 6 at its consultations, Kind & Gezin (Opgroeien) has recorded digitally since the late 1990s, and Kaleido, in the German-speaking Community, even states it keeps a register "even if the vaccination card is lost".
School: CLB and PSE
Vaccinations given at school are logged by the CLB (Flanders) — file kept at least ten years after the last contact — and by the PSE services (Wallonia-Brussels Federation), which record into the central registry. A valuable lead for teenage vaccines.
Work: occupational medicine
Work-related vaccines (hepatitis B for care workers, mandatory since 1999, tetanus in some trades) are given and archived by your external prevention service. Contact them directly for your data.
The pharmacy: ten years of memory
The Shared Pharmaceutical Record keeps dispensed vaccines for ten years (versus one year for everything else). And for a few years now, pharmacists themselves vaccinate against flu — no prescription needed — and register those vaccinations.
Your health insurer, as a last resort
Your mutuelle / ziekenfonds reimbursement statements do not prove a vaccination, but they date vaccine purchases — enough to cross-check the other sources when a date is missing.
And then: centralise everything
Each source only holds one piece of the puzzle. A digital record like emmunity lets you bring it all together — including what is registered nowhere else, like an old paper-only vaccine — and share it with the whole family.
Frequently asked questions
Can I access Vaccinnet or e-Vax directly?
No: those registries are reserved for healthcare professionals. As a citizen you view your vaccinations via MaSanté or your region's portal — it is the same data.
Which portal should I use in Brussels?
The Brussels Health Network: your vaccination summary is available within 48 hours of an injection, downloadable in French, Dutch or English.
Will my work hepatitis B vaccine appear in MaSanté?
Not necessarily: occupational-medicine vaccinations are archived by your external prevention service. Contact them directly — then have your doctor note the vaccine to complete your record.
Does the pharmacist keep a record of my vaccines?
Yes: the Shared Pharmaceutical Record keeps dispensed vaccines for ten years, and pharmacy-administered vaccinations (like flu) are registered.
