How we verify our information
Health isn't something to improvise. Here's how we write our guides and tools — and what you can expect from them.

Official sources, cited
Every guide is based on official Belgian sources — Sciensano, ONE, Opgroeien/Kind & Gezin, the FPS Public Health, the Institute of Tropical Medicine Antwerp — with links at the bottom of each article. We don’t repeat information we can’t tie back to a recognised authority.
Dated and kept current
Every page carries a date and is reviewed when recommendations change. For example: the infant vaccination schedule changes on 1 November 2026 — our pages flag this and will be updated accordingly.
Information, not medical advice
Our content is informational and general. It doesn’t replace advice from your doctor, ONE/Kind & Gezin, or a travel clinic — only they can account for your situation.
Transparency
We favour clarity over exhaustiveness, and would rather say “it depends” than decide for you when recommendations vary by region, age or situation.
