Which vaccines are required to travel from Belgium?
The only vaccine that can be required for entry is yellow fever, for certain countries. The others are recommended by destination. Pick your country in the tool.
How long before departure should I get vaccinated?
Ideally 6 to 8 weeks before. Yellow fever must be given at least 10 days before arrival, at an approved centre.
Is malaria prevented by a vaccine?
No — for travellers, malaria is prevented with prescription tablets (prophylaxis) and mosquito-bite protection, not a vaccine.
