Portugal (the mainland, the Azores and Madeira) needs no vaccine to enter from Belgium and is malaria-free. West Nile virus (mosquitoes) is the risk named on the mainland and in the Azores, while Madeira instead carries a dengue risk; Lyme disease (ticks) applies everywhere.
